Red Thighed Wandering spider, male, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica.
This spider was sitting on a banana tree leaf about 15 feet off the ground. I noticed it because of its eye shine from my headlamp, and I had to pass under it to continue on the trail. Its about 5 inches in diameter.
